Specialist in Standardbred equine media — delivering national-level video, photography, and live coverage

Equine Media

In 2025, I partnered with Australian Pacing Gold as the lead content creator for their national sales tour, producing pre-sales media, vendor features, and high-frequency content across sales weekend. I also served as producer of APG’s multi-camera livestream, delivering one of Australia’s only low-latency equine broadcasts with under a two-second delay to support real-time online bidding. This role required fast turnaround times, strong communication with vendors and trainers, and reliable technical execution under high-pressure event conditions.

HARNESS RACING SOUTH AUSTRALIA

In collaboration with Harness Racing South Australia, I produce a wide range of media including event coverage, race-day content, behind-the-scenes features, and promotional material for the organisation’s digital platforms. I also film and produce HRSA’s live barrier draws for major race meetings, delivering reliable, fast-turnaround content tailored for online audiences. Through an ongoing media contract with HRSA, I support the organisation’s engagement strategy by creating high-quality, consistent visual content across their social and web channels.

HIGHLIGHT PIECE

HRSA - South Australian Pacing Cup 2025

Throughout my work with Harness Racing South Australia, I’ve helped create content that showcases the biggest race nights on the SA calendar. These nights are unpredictable—racing moves fast, stories unfold in real time, and there’s always more happening behind the scenes than anyone expects. Having multiple camera angles ready for every moment, then being able to jump on track for the celebrations, is essential. It’s all about building a setup that’s efficient, adaptable, and able to capture everything as it unfolds. And of course, night racing brings its own challenge: lighting—always the toughest opponent on the track.

In my role with Piranha Media, I produce and edit up to four separate equine and sporting shows each week, reaching over 1.5 million annual views. Every episode is filmed and edited within a 24-hour turnaround to meet the fast-paced expectations of online audiences. Alongside the Piranha crew, I regularly travel across regional South Australia to cover race meetings and capture the stories that matter to the harness racing community. Local interviews, property visits, behind-the-scenes moments, and race coverage that often goes unnoticed by the broader industry. Through this work, I’ve developed a strong ability to create meaningful, community-driven content while managing tight deadlines, unpredictable conditions, and the unique challenges of equine media.

Piranha Media - Property Visit Content for Online Audiences

Filmed at Hoare Boys Racing, Port Pirie, with Piranha Panelist Crew

Through my work with Piranha Media, I travel across South Australia to cover regional harness racing meetings and meet the trainers who keep these communities thriving. These trips allow me to capture authentic, character-driven stories that showcase not only the dedication of the people behind the sport, but also the humour and personality that make regional racing so unique. This piece blends interviews, on-location filming, and light-hearted moments to create engaging, memorable content for local and online audiences.

Collaborated with Cassio Oliveira, former international footballer and Adelaide United professional, to produce specialised content for his youth academy. Following their return from Spain, where they coached Australia’s only youth talent at Mundialo, Cassio and Assistant Coach Josh sat down to reflect on the experience and outline their vision for the academy’s next chapter. PROJECT - BARMERA CRICKET CLUB RETURN

After more than 20 years without a cricket team in Barmera, Riverland, the club’s revival has been documented through an ongoing program designed to showcase the importance of sport in regional Australia. Over five spaced-out weeks of the cricket season, we captured game days, local interactions, and the unique environment surrounding the newly reformed club.

The project also features interviews with past Barmera players, including semi-professional county cricketers from the UK, as well as representatives from major cricket organisations such as the South Australian Cricket Association. These conversations highlight the vital role community sport plays in supporting regional identity and mental health.

Post-production is currently underway, with additional funding being sought to complete key elements required for television and streaming approval. Our goal is to finalise the documentary by January 2026, with distribution discussions already in progress.

SPECIAL EDITION FISHING PROJECT WITH JOEY WRIGHT

After working with the team at Piranha Media, we built strong relationships with regional sponsors, and occasionally, the best way to give back to those communities is through specialised content that celebrates their local identity. One of these projects was a fast-turnaround fishing program designed to spotlight our regional partners, from accommodation providers to local retailers, while also delivering entertaining and high-quality storytelling.

With former NBL Coach of the Year Joey Wright as our on-camera talent, and an enthusiastic fisherman, we planned a full day on the water to capture a blend of competition, humour, and regional history. My role spanned planning, production, and post-production, ensuring the content remained engaging, informative, and authentic to the communities we filmed in.

Producing a program entirely on a small, moving vessel brought its own technical challenges. However, the combination of drone footage, handheld cameras, and GoPro angles created a dynamic and immersive viewing experience. The final product showcased not only the beauty and serenity of regional South Australia, but also the spirit of the people and sponsors who support local sport and storytelling.

Produced professional media content for diverse clients across multiple business sectors, capturing events, campaigns, and promotional material tailored to each audience and setting.

BUSINESS MEDIA

Collaborated with a variety of real estate clients to produce high-quality commercial and residential media for sales, post-build showcases, and promotional campaigns. My work includes photography that highlights key features of newly built homes, as well as sales videography to showcase premium properties across Adelaide. For commercial clients, I have delivered comprehensive media packages including photography, video, floorplans, and 360° virtual tours, tailored to enhance marketing and client engagement.

EVENT COVERAGE - APP LAUNCH

During AFL Gather Round 2025, I collaborated with AFL legend Paul Salmon to produce a promotional video for his new app, City Feels. From concept to filming in under one hour, the project was completed and delivered within three hours to meet tight launch deadlines. The video highlighted key app features, encouraged user engagement among event attendees, and showcased its potential for everyday use across Australia, while also conveying the app’s future goals and vision.

As part of the City Feels app launch, I worked with Paul Salmon to showcase key events within the platform. Collaborating with former Essendon Football Club legends Gavin Wanganeen and James Hird, I captured event content that highlighted the app’s functionality and potential for both personal and commercial use, helping users understand how to host and engage with events through the platform.

The featured video is a condensed version of three final edits produced for the City Feels app launch during AFL Gather Round. The app was live for a five-day period to gather technical feedback for the production team and is currently offline while refinements are made.

This work has included photography, videography, and digital content production across multiple channels, including social media, email campaigns, and print materials. My role has been to ensure all content is engaging, professional, and tailored to reach and influence the intended audience, while maintaining a high standard of creative and ethical practice.
